Largo takes its name from Handel’s opera song “Ombra mai fù”, which is also known as the “Largo of Xerxes”.

With birds chirping at sunrise, refreshing air emanating from the Sea of Clouds, gentle breezes that rustle the leaves, and stars that twinkle at nightfall.. The serene Largo Inn is located in the mountains of western Tokushima Prefecture, which is an area that has been designated by the United Nations as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Site (GIAHS).
Here your days can be calmly spent away from your daily routines as you breathe in the natural setting and gain insight on how to make your future more enlightened.
Meals are an assortment of country-side dishes which utilize locally grown ingredients, including wild plants and flavorful herbs. And for those who wish to have a deeper encounter with nature, our specialist staff will further introduce the unique aromas that the herbs can offer through therapeutic treatments.
“Pleasant days” await all who come, as the natural experiences we provide are sure to engage your five senses and more.
